BA (Hons) Contemporary Art Practice student studying at Grays School of Art, Aberdeen
At this present moment I am exploring the ways in which human beings leave evidence and traces in their lifetimes; how daily life is documented by people, creators, artists and photographers, along with how our perceptions of the day-to-day are formed. A big part of this comes from social media and the digital world that we are currently living in. I consider the boring, almost intimate, aspects of life to be overlooked by most of us and I have been searching for ways in which to shine a new light onto this.
Is touch physical and mental?
Are we sharing everything but not everything on the internet?
Why are certain spaces considered private?
How can the everyday become fascinating?
